Loess (= calcerous loam-soil, aeolic sediments deposited in the last glacier-time) and gravel-conglomerate.
Harvest and Vinification
Selected grapes were crushed and destemmed and pressed gently. After setteling over night the fermentation took place, temperature controlled in stainless steel. The second fermentation in the bottle — Methode Traditionelle — was followed by 24 months maturing on the lees before beeing degorged. Zero Dosage.
Tasting Notes
Fine mousseux, delicate a notes of yellow apples, herbs of the meadow, touch of Rhubarb and hints of citrus, animating and elegant.
